Superheros and Ice Cream

Tonight after dinner David was talking to Tyler:
David: "Tyler what superheros eat ice cream?"
Tyler: "Me"

Apparently the superheros at my house eat ice cream. :)

(Though, according to the boys, Superman eats ice cream but the Hulk does not ;) )

Hot Cocoa, Forts, Haircuts, and the Fourth!

David was working from home and to get Tray to leave the computer room he asked Tray to go make him a big cup of hot cocoa. When I got downstairs this is the scene that I saw; Tray on the counter with a mug of cold "hot cocoa" behind him. He was so proud of himself for making daddy some "hot" cocoa. (After I had him take it to David I did heat it up for him ;) ).

We finally moved our dining room table back into the house and what do we do with it?.... Eat on it? Of course not! We turned it into a fort for all the kids to play in of course!

We decided to have a little fun painting "treasure" boxes out on the deck.

With it being warmer weather (finally) we decided to cut Trays hair to see if he could "pull-off" the short look yet. What do you think?

Most of our friends that we normally do something with on the 4th were going out of town this year so we decided to try something new. We went to some car races and demo derbys!
The kids had a blast and all did really well (we didn't get home til after midnight).
